At C&W Networks, we’ve invested in building and operating one of the most technologically advanced and extensive fiber optic network to best serve our wholesale customers. This award-winning network - which has been consistently recognized as ‘Best in Class’ - comprises over 50,000km of subsea ringed fiber network and 60 subsea cable stations. In addition, we are Metro Ethernet Forum (MEF) 2.0 certified and own and operate a fully meshed MPLS (Multiprotocol Label Switching) overlay fabric providing various Layer 2, Layer 3 classes of service. Working together to connect over 40 countries in the Americas region.
With multiple Network Operation Centers, we provide a single-point, end-to-end, multilingual service, and our network operations teams are contactable 24 hours a day, seven days a week, all year round. Proudly serving 250 global, regional and international carriers, TV cable companies, Internet Service Providers and Network Integrators.
Our key subsea networks include the Caribbean Optical-ring System (ARCOS- 1), Colombia-Florida Express (CFX-1), EC-Link cable system, Fibralink, Maya 1, Eastern Caribbean Fiber Express (ECFS), Taino-Carib, East-West, Cayman-Jamaica Fibre system, Caribbean-Bermuda U.S (CBUS), Americas II, Gemini Bermuda, Pan America (PAN-AM), Antillas 1 and Pacific Caribbean Cable System (PCCS). Built to be ‘future proof’, today we are utilizing approximately 10% of our ultimate network design carrying capacity, demonstrating that we have a huge onward capacity carrying capability to serve the region for the future.
