The Monaco Grand Prix happens each May. Monaco Telecom provides mobile and broadband services for the drivers, teams, broadcasters and visitors.

One weekend a year, thousands of visitors descend on Monaco for the Grand Prix, all expecting seamless mobile and broadband services. Our business, Monaco Telecom (MT), puts in an impressive performance all year round but never more so than for this special weekend, the highest demand period of the year.

The drivers, teams and race officials need high-capacity and reliable communications links. The teams are in constant contact with their engineers and colleagues back home, wherever in the world that may be.

MT is also the main provider of communications for the media. We provide satellite links so the race can be broadcast globally and make sure broadcast, print and online journalists can all get their messages across.

Visitors and spectators have their own demands. They all expect great mobile coverage through international roaming so they can keep in touch with friends and family. Many also expect broadband services via mobile link or back at their hotels.

So how does MT provide all this? It lays on extra GSM coverage and network capacity to deal with the expected surge. This means fewer dropped calls and network interruptions, improved quality of service and thousands upon thousands of satisfied customers.

The Monaco Grand Prix requires high performance from MT. We deliver each and every year.
