In June 2010 1,841 people gathered together at the Macau Forum to set a new Guinness World Record for the largest group rap. This event was organised by CTM, our Macau business, and it was hosted by the famous Chinese rapper, MC Jin.

The event, Net’s Go to Rap together and Break the Guinness World Record saw CTM and Macanese residents break the previous record of 1,597 people rapping together.

MC Jin had everyone excited with performances of his hits along with other celebrities from Hong Kong boosting the atmosphere. He then led all the participants to rap together. The rap written by MC Jin was about CTM’s mobile Internet service – Nets Go. The lyrics reflected CTM’s Net’s Go service plan and its benefits.

CTM along with the participants have now been registered in the Guinness World Record book for the first time. The collaborative rapping was verified by adjudicator Angela Wu and she presented the Guinness World Record certificate to CTM & MC Jin. The crowd went wild as the results were announced.

CTM is proud to be part of this recording breaking moment in Macau and to have given Macau residents the chance to be part of Guinness World Record’s history.
