LIME. For Living. Everyday.
Services available
LIME our business in the Caribbean, is a leading full service telecoms provider in the region and the largest telecommunications provider by revenue across the markets in which it operates.
We provide telecom services to the communities of 13 Caribbean islands: Anguilla, Antigua & Barbuda, Barbados, British Virgin Islands, Cayman Islands, Dominica, Grenada, Jamaica, Montserrat, St Kitts & Nevis, St Lucia, St Vincent and the Grenadines and Turks & Caicos.
The Bahamas Telecommunications Company is also part of the Caribbean region.
Additionally we own a minority stake (49%) in the leading telecoms group in Trinidad & Tobago, TSTT, which we own with the Government.
In mobile, LIME is the market leader in 9 of the markets in which it trades. In Jamaica we took mobile services to a new level with the launch of Jamaica’s Mobile TV in 2010. We are the market leader in all fixed line markets across our Caribbean business.
We are also the market leader in broadband in each of the markets in the Caribbean apart from the Bahamas. LIME has the competitive advantage of offering the widest range of mobile, broadband and fixed line services across the region. We are also a leading provider to corporate and enterprise customers across the region. .
Cable & Wireless Communications wholly owns eight of the businesses it operates in the Caribbean, and owns a further six businesses in partnership with the local government.
Historically our business in the Caribbean has operated as a group of separate businesses; however the subsidiary businesses were integrated in 2008 into one regional operating entity as part of the ‘One Caribbean’ transformation programme. We rebranded this unified business as LIME (Landline, Internet, Mobile and Entertainment).
As LIME, we have striven to provide a better service to customers and work to create a more efficient business that is focussed on serving the communities of the Caribbean. We are also one of the biggest employers in the region and the largest employer in many island communities.
LIME also has an active programme of community activities from leading recovery efforts at times of national emergencies to our LIME Green initiative, which aims to reduce the carbon consumption of our business.
