How to donate your shares to charity
The Company is aware that shareholders who hold a small number of shares may be retaining these shares because dealing costs make it uneconomical to dispose of them.
To help, the Company has teamed up with The Orr Mackintosh Foundation to enable shareholders to donate shares, plus any unclaimed dividends arising from those shares, to a range of charities via ShareGift. This service is completely free of charge.

Donating shares to charity in this way will not give rise to either a gain or a loss for Capital Gains Tax purposes and you may be able to reclaim income tax on gifted shares. Further information can be obtained from your local Inland Revenue Enquiry Centre or from ShareGift's website.
